I just picked up the latest issue of the San Francisco Panorama today from Green Apple. McSweeney’s has proven that the American newspaper is still viable. It just takes a team of writers five months to produce a single issue, which sells for $17.52 :)

They have some clips online that you can watch. Issue 1 has a piece written by Miranda July and a strange Al Gore documentary by Spike Jonze. Issue 2 has a film about gothic steampunk airships. Issue 3 has a piece called Walleyball: a friendly volleyball game between Americans and Mexicans, over the border fence. There’s a ton of great stuff here…. must subscribe!

Wholphin is a McSweeney’s publication, of course.. It seems like the kind of thing that Tyrone would put together..
