Old toys from India

Check out the Kranti and Rubina zap guns. They are awesomely loud and used to shoot sparks, but the flints are worn out. Also, these two wooden tops have sharp metal points which are now rusty.

I don’t know where to buy old toys in Chennai… These toys were bought new from a toy vendor pushcart on the street near my grandparents house in New Delhi in the early 1980s. I would keep an eye out at bazaars and perhaps put up a sign saying you want to buy old toys. I bet families with kids who have outgrown second or third-hand toys would like to sell them to you.
