Shooting Star(s) Alert!
The Perseids Meteor Shower, which happens every year, is set to peak tonight (between midnight and dawn). The best way to see the showers is to find someplace dark (away from city lights) and lie on your back with your feet pointing northeast. I did this one year somewhere in Marin and saw lots of shooting stars!

Should we got to the Pinnacles? We used to go there to see the Leonids..
oooh that would be fun! but i only slept 4 hrs last night so not sure i’d be able to make the drive and stay up. maybe if i take a nap when i get home. there’s also these campgrounds close by! http://www.trailcenter.org/guides/camping/camping-03b.htm
