Austin Ice Cream Festival
This actually happened last weekend but I unfortunately missed it. My friend Jesse and some friends of his decided that Austin needed an ice cream festival, so they put one together! Here’s a video of the making of the ice cream truck (he’s the one driving it)…and a linkie to the website.
Ice cream is my all-time-favorite-food-group and drug of choice (all my attempts to OD on it have failed miserably though) so I wish we had an ice cream festival here too!

This weekend sounds good.. We have two Cuisinart ice cream makers, so you don’t have to buy one!
Do you have room in your freezer for an ice cream tumbler? We have to pre-freeze it, but we have a tiny freezer from Europe that can only fit one..
yep, I have a normal sized fridge / freezer so should be able to fit the ice cream tumblers in! What day should we have it? maybe Sunday afternoon? I can go to the farmer’s market on Sat to gather ingredients!
