Podcasts for you to listen to…
I promised Peliom that I would post a list of my favorite podcasts, so here it is!
- DJ Chang’s Buddha Hash Cafe - House music and other beaty styles, and always very fun. Chang has a absoutely contagious love of music!
- DJPJ’s Galactic Fractures - funk and soul from an extremely talented and dedicated DJ. Also on the air on WMFO Boston.
- Professor Vizuete’s Jazz Incognito - jazz from a connoisseur of improv and experimental styles. Also on the air at WCOM Carrboro NC.
- Coldcut podcast - hiphop and turntablism.
- Not a podcast, but DJ /rupture posts tons of mp3s from around the world on his blog.
I also listen to non-music podcasts from Learn Hindi From Bollywood Movies, which always cracks me up, This American Life, and RadioLab, which is like This American Life but with a science bent.
Shouldn’t TR have a podcast?
Update: I forgot to mention that Mixmaster Morris and friends post mp3s of his shows on the MMM tribe. Also, i found this on jace’s above-linked blog and am still laughing..
i think you and peliom would make for an excellent podcasting team :-)
